Generic problem for all Fax Machines

I have my husband's Panafax UF 895 fax which I am using since my other fax broke. We set it up, but he can't find the manual -- I can fax out and copy, but can't receive faxes. On the display it says "Manual rcv", which we think means it's set for only receiving faxes with a handset. I want it to automatically fax. How do I get that off? And how can I get a manual for this machine? I'm sure something else will come up that I will need to know. Thank you.

GuruYour machine is set to Manual Receive.
You need to change Function 17 to 2.
Go to Fax Parameters on the below link to help guide you through programming the fax parameters.
Basically, you hit FUNCTION, then #7, Press #4 and Set,Enter 17, hit Set, enter 2, Set. After you are done, then press STOP, and your machine should be set to AUTO RECEIVE.

You should probably save a copy of the manual on your computer incase the link is lost or shut down in the future.
