When i slide up my motorolla rival it doesnt switch over it keeps the screen looking like it would when its shut.

Motorolla L7 do not slide open and do not have keyboard, the only this it has is the keypad on the gront panel.

Motorolla L7 does not slide nor flip, it is flat phone that as all its function keys on the front panel. It does not have a keyboard either, it only has a keypad whivh is common to all phones.

My phone was doing that for awhile.. All I did was slide it up really hard then back down & left it alone.. It worked afterwards.

The problem you are experiencing is from your screen bulb,

The screen bulb is what lights up your screen,it works like any fluorescent or light bulb,after a while it gets burnt

The only solution is to take it to a repairer to replace it with a good one for you

The white screen of death is a flex problem.

The flex of a phone is what connects the screen to the board of the phone. it is found in most flip and slide phones.

When you flip and slide these type of phones after a while the flex gets weak and that causes the white screen you see.


The only solution is to have your flex changed,that will definitely solve the problem..

ur firmware must be corrupted..re install it

Do a factory reset -menu-settings-ok-reset settings (scroll down to #9) tick all-reset, If this doesnt work phone most likely needs new screen/ribbon cable.

the lcd may be demaged or if it is a sliding one then the strip has some issues
