best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Use wifi on hp 1730 desktop

Most desktop PCs do not come with integrated wifi. Thus, in order to use wifi on these devices, you must purchase an wifi adapter for the device. This can be in the form of an expansion card installed internal to the device (assuming there is space to do so) or by using an external, USB dongle-style adapter (easier by far). Once you purchase the adapter, simply follow the installation instructions to install the hardware and load the driver software.

Averatec d1130 drivers

Go to the Averatec website and download them. If they are not available or there is no Averatec website, try the internet. However, be careful that the site which claims to have them is downloading the drivers not the "driver update" junk-ware which is probably a fake thing and will not work anyway.

Finally, you could go to ebay and see if somebody is selling the driver disk (or a driver disk) for you model.

Good luck

I can figure out how to switch wireless on my emachine desk top its 2 years old purchased from cosco had ethernet now i moved and using wifi can connect to wifi does not show where i can choose my wireless...

If it's a desktop it may not have a wireless card installed on it. I would recommend going to the eMachines website and look up the model of your desktop to see the information on what was included in it. You may need to purchase a USB WiFi adapter to add wireless to the computer.

How do I install wifi on my old Gateway 300S desktop? It doesn't seem to

You have 2 options... 1. Purchase a USB WiFi adapter that's compatible with your current OS, which I'll assume to be Windows XP 2. Purchase a PCI WiFi card card that's compatible with your current OS, which I'll still assume to be Windows XP... PCI is better, but you'll have to physically open up your computer to install it. Either case you'll have to install software drivers for your chosen device.

How to install my router for wireless internet on my laptop.

1. Purchase a wireless router that fits your needs and price range.

2. Follow the router's manual to set up the router and its Internet connection, which will probably require connecting a wired client to the router. Once the wireless router is set up, the wired connection is no longer necessary. However, it's best to leave the wired client connected if it's a separate computer from that on which you're going to set up WiFi. If something goes wrong, you can access the administration interface again.

3. Gather information from the setup process. In order to set up the wireless client, you will need to know the service set identifier (SSID), the Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) key and the channel and mode.

4. Boot up the laptop and plug in the WiFi card. This will not be necessary if your laptop has an integrated WiFi card.

5. Install any drivers needed to use the WiFi card. Insert the disc that came with the WiFi card and follow the on-screen installation process. Most discs will trigger a new hardware wizard that makes installation extremely simple.

6. Double-click on the "WiFi Connection" icon. It can be found in the system tray at the bottom of the laptop screen.

7. Click on "Properties."

8. Select the "Wireless Networks" tab.

9. Use the "Add" button at the bottom of the dialog if your WiFi network isn't in the "Available Networks" section.

10. Click on "Configure" when you see your network's SSID in the "Available Networks."

11. Enter your network's SSID and WEP key.

12. Click on "Start," then choose "Connect To" and "Wireless Network Connection." Your computer should now be able to access the WiFi network. If the WiFi network is connected to the Internet, it should also be able to connect to the Internet.

Thanks.
Have great day.

How to upgrade RAM in Averatec 1000?

you need to remove the base. if you can use a screwdriver and are careful you can do the lot.
also to make it easier, before u start dissassembly pop the cd drive and undo the 2 screws attaching the silver plastic cover to the drive.

then take the battery out. be careful when you remove the screws for the screen as when u have the case apart the screen brackets tend to get in the way. the speaker grill comes off in one single part.

you will void any warranty left too!

any questions email me at stug45@gmail.com
also if you have any upto date drivers that you've got somehow can you email me!
im looking for upto date vga, mouse and network.
windows update doesnt have it and i cant read korean to get onto the averatec site. the other site i found was a really didge site. :(
