Bottom of laptop gets too hot to set on my lap when on. I've never had a laptop get this warm before.
I have the same problem.

this is normal but be carefull it will damage your graphic unit

IF the fan is loud, too then it seems to be dust inside open the biggest cover part. But be carefull the lap doesn't have power. Remove the battery pack first. On the right side where the power button is located, there is on the botton side of the laptop the cover part, which i mean. open it there are FAN, RAM clean it with a vacuum cleaner low-level.
