If not spinning mightbe a lid asssy, if the unit doesnt recognise the door closing it wont spin for safety reasons, try opening and closing lid a few times.. can oyu hear a "clicking noise" if not you need a new lid switch. if you do then id look for maybe something stuck betweeen tubs preventing unit from spinning

I have a kenmore 90 series washer that won't spin. It makes a grinding type noise at that point in the cycle. I followed the trouble shooting guide and checked the motor/gearbox coupler. The coupler looks...

If the coupling is OK then the problem is most likely to be further up the drive-line, which means the gearbox has probably failed. .........Nomess

Kenmore 90 does not spin (sounds like working & coupler is good)

If the coupler is ok then the next thing to check is the brake/ basket drive cam driver, the ear breaks off on em and won't release the brake. You must remove the agitator and drop the tranny to check itffbcc2d.jpg
Nothing is difficult about repairing the washer. I have repair photos HERE

Kenmore series 90 washer won't go into Spin

This is probably a bad drive coupler between the motor and the gearcase assembly.
