If the icemaker is not level and you are getting water spilling over you may want to do one of the following. You can take the front cover off the icemaker, it will just pull off. then you can turn down the cube size untill you no longer have a problem. Or you can shim one or more of the mounting screws with washers until you have the problem solved. Please let me know if this helped you, I really hope it does.

My Kenmore refrigerator's ice maker is dripping at the front of the ice maker. it drips slowly but makes a big chunk of ice right at the front of the bucket. What should I do?

This is pretty generic without a model # but holds true with alot of them..this type of icicle is usually caused by water overflowing the ice mold of the ice maker module. The reason for the overflow could be that the ice maker module is not level. Check to see if it is tilting. This could be caused by loose screws or a warping of the liner on the side wall of the freezer.

If the ice maker is level, then the next cause could be that the ice maker is overfilling. There is an adjustment screw on the right side of the front of the ice maker module. You may have to remove the cover from the front of the module to access this screw. Turn the screw counterclockwise to decrease the water fill. Turning this screw one turn may decrease the water fill level in the mold enough to prevent the leaking. If not, you may need to make a second adjustment.

Other problems that could cause this icicle could include:

Wicking of the water over the top of the ice maker mold caused by hard water deposits in the mold.

Leaking of the ice maker water solenoid valve.

Crack or leak in the ice maker module.

If the module is level and decreasing the water fill level does not solve your ice maker problem, then I recommend checking the ice mold for hard water deposits. If you find no deposits in the mold (or clean them and still have the same problem), then you will probably need a service technician to fix the ice maker. if you need more help, re-submit your question with additional details.

Samsung refrigerator ice maker

Many icemakers use a bar or a sensor to shut off water when ice levels are at a maximum. Check to see if it's bent, missing, or pushed down below the ice level, tricking it into thinking there's no ice there.

My ice maker keeps dripping water at the front by the control module

Make sure your refrigerator is level. Once your refriderator is level you should also check that your ice maker is level. You have some range of movement of the screws that attach the ice maker to the refrigerator if you loosen the screw and push up on the ice maker then re-tighten the screw.

You may not need an ice maker. See if it is level. If the ice maker is overflowing with water there is an adjusting screw to lower the water level.

When is ice maker activated ;with bar up or down ??

The bar will sense ice cube level in the holding bin. If it is all the way down it will tell the ice maker to make more ice. When the maker "dumps" the ice the bar should be all the way up and will lower to check the level.

Need less water to the icemaker when it fills ice maker it uses to much water

Hi: I don't know how much you mean by to much water, but that model uses a simple ice maker. If it's just a little water over flowing; Put a level on it and make sure the ref and ice maker are sitting level. If too far out of level the ice maker will leak water. Try this before calling service. I hope this helps, Jeff
