Shark steamer wont work. Green button came on and went off. No steam. Have used steamers for long time. What do I need to do?

my husband fixed my shark steamer by taking it apart and testing it wire by wire .the problem ?a fuse hidden inside the unit..unscrew the screws and get inside the steamer .at the bottom of the steamer there is a gold orange foil looking piece .under that is a small fuse .unless you can find another fuse just cut that one off and rewire the wires together .shark now comes on
