Question about Printers & Copiers
Make sure that the cartridge is inserted properly and the plastic tab covering the contacts has been removed. Also try cleaning the contacts gently with some isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip.
Should that not work, unplug the printer from the mains and the PC for about 15 mins. Press the power button on the printer in this condition for a couple for minutes (2-3). I know this wont show or do anything, but it will help to disacharge any latent charges. After 15 mins, plug the printer back into the mains and then the PC.
Try it now and see if it works. If it still doesn't, then try replacing the cartridge. Its faulty.
Hope that helps...Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.
