Are you using the APD304e driver for your printer? It has option where to cut paper, if not you can download driver from site, you will have to register first so that you will get a username and password. then go to technical resources, then select printer model then download driver

heres a screenshot of the driver info unfinished printing cut-off - 426b8c6.jpg

In your application/POS application are you using a custom size paper? and are you using the printer driver? Or are you using esc codes?

The latest is APD401, but i recommend the apd304e for your unit, select tm-t88II on printer list from and download the 304e driver.

Thats all right, youll just select the printer model from, but when you install the driver using the APD304e in the option to select printer module on the process of installation select TM-T88IV (alright?) but before reinstalling new driver, uninstall previous driver first from add/remove program. then reboot when it prompts you to. Have a Good one!

Stop Ejection of printing paper roll after printing in dot matrix printer

I assume you are printing on roll paper, but printer acts like it is printing on cut sheet paper. When finish the page, it ejects it, but it is not a page, it is a roll and the paper keeps unrolling, right? There have to be a lever that swithes between cut sheet paper and roll paper. Turn it to the oposite direction and the problem should be fixed.

Auto cutter does not cut automatically

TM 220a and TM 220b should come with auto cutters
You have to unscrew the metal tab under the printer, you will find two sets of DIP switches. upper one is DWS 1 and the lower one is DWS 2. On DWS 2 you need to have jumper #2 ON. this enables or activates the auto cutter on printers. Good luck...

Colr prints showing plenty of lines

Here's a solution from Canon USA:

Issue: Banded or streaked prints
Solution: Print Head Alignment MP530

Perform Print Head Alignment Instructions to perform a Print Head Alignment directly from the machine. If diagrams or ruled lines are misaligned, print head alignment is required. The print head alignment can be performed automatically or manually. If the automatic print head alignment does not work, adjust the print head manually. Automatic Print Head Alignment
  1. Press <ON/OFF> to turn on the machine.

  2. Load a few sheets of letter-sized plain paper in the auto sheet feeder.

  3. Press the Open button to open the Paper Output Tray. Then open up and set the extension by pressing down the hollow on the front side.

  4. Execute automatic print head alignment.
    1. Press <COPY> button.
    2. Press <Menu> repeatedly to select [MAINTENACE].
    3. Press the left or right cursor to select [AUTO HEAD ALIGN], then press the <OK>. (A pattern is printed and the print head is automatically aligned. It takes about five minutes to finish printing the pattern.)

Manual print head alignment
  1. Press <ON/OFF> to turn on the machine.

  2. Load two sheets of Letter-sized plain paper in the auto sheet feeder or cassette.

  3. Ensure that the proper paper source is selected.

  4. Execute manual print head alignment.
    1. Press <Menu> repeatedly to select [MAINTENACE].
    2. Press the left or right cursor to select [ALIGN PRINT HEAD], then press the <OK>. (The nozzle check pattern is printed.)

  5. Check the printed patterns and use the left or right arrow to input the number of the pattern in column A that has the least noticeable streaks.

  6. Press <OK> to move the cursor to column B, and then use the left or right arrow to input the number of the pattern that has the least noticeable streaks.

  7. Repeat the procedure until you finish inputting the pattern number for column P.

  8. When you have finished inputting all pattern numbers, press <OK>.

Note: For columns A through N select the patterns with the least visible vertical streaks. For columns O and P select the patterns with the fewest visible horizontal streaks.

<1> Example of the pattern with the fewest visible vertical streak

<2> Example of the pattern with the most visible vertical streak

<1> Example of the pattern with the fewest visible horizontal streak

<2> Example of the pattern with the most visible horizontal streak

Hope this helps - fotobean.

I want to print documents borderless. how can I change the settings to do this??

This is done in the printing industry by printing on larger paper and cutting down to the finished size.

An extra cut about 1 inch after the invoice is printed

Go into printer friendly setup, then select the receipt printer and choose the option 'Cut at this station'. Make sure it is unchecked. Your problem solved ;)

Using the cutter

you want to print borderless on a cutsheet media? you just have to select and 'cheat' the printer in the printer properties, in there choose roll on the paper source option then enable the cutter and choose double cut on printer's set-up menu on the panel, then it'll cut before and after the printing to make it borderless from top to bottom and from edge to edge. just be sure that the cutsheet media is long enough so that the printer can still hold the media as it finishes the printing or else it'll be a waste, cause the printer wont finish the image. and take note that the epson sp9600 has a limitation in printing borderless, it'll only print borderless on (12", 17", 24", 36:, and 44") media size only i think there's also 14". trust me it'll work, ive done it! :P
