check out you tube for similar issues

does it try to power to green then turn red
if so something is detected as wrong

you could also just have the parental lock setup in a unknown way

check out the settings for it in the manual

Ive got a samsung LE32A457CID tv every now and then whilst watching a progamme all the people green, wot can this be ???

Hello,

It's a convergence issue. Go into the main TV menu under video settings and look for convergence. If it has an auto convergnce select that and wait a minute the TV will adjust itself and give you a clear picture.
If the TV does not have an auto convergence and just regular convergence than select this. It will give you a grid pattern on your TV and you have to move the cursor (using TV remote) and adjust each "point" so that each line is perfectly white. If you notice red or blue anywhere on that "line" then you have to adjust using the up, down, left and right arrow keys to "line up the red and blue lines with the nearest white line. It taked time and patience to do, but when completed, all lines on the grid pattern should be pure white and you will have a great looking picture.
You have to do this will all TV inputs (Video1, Video2 and so on) the reason Zoom looks good, is because you never used that screen as much and so the lenses didn't have a chance to get out of synch.
RPTV's are made of the three lenses (red, Blue and Green) and as you watch TV, these lenses slowly get out of alignment. So you should do a convergence about twice a year to make sure nothing is out of whack.

it is very easy just tedious and time consuming. If you have the auto convergence than your golden because this is the easiest way to "reset" the TV.

Good luck and if you still have the owners manual, You should read up on the convergence section in the manual.

XBox Audio Problems

The red, blue and green are ONLY the Video outputs, and connect colour to colour, now, there are Two other connections, again coulor to coulor, usually red & white, that hook up to the Stereo INPUT. So you need BOTH sets to work IE: The Video & Audio. Video: Blue, Red, Green. Audio: Red & White.

Samsung 2333HD to dvd/vcr combo

Hi there,

On a DVD/VCR combo unit....the Component Output (RED, GREEN, BLUE) is exclusive to the DVD player section only (VCR can only output analogue source) and will only be able to view DVD.

To watch VCR, you will need to connect to your TV via Composite (YELLOW) cable, into the Yellow AV input on your TV. You can then tune the VCR section to match your TV's RF input (if you prefer this connection).

Good luck...

I have a samsung2333hd and want to connect a dvd player using the connections marked pr(red) pb(blue) y (green) when i connect them all i get a redish pink screen then when i connect two of them i get...

OK no problem here. I can help. First reconnect the DVD Player to the tv using the Compoment cables. Match Green to Green,Red to Red and Blue to Blue.. If this is done correctly then you will have normal looking picture. If the picture looks like it is missing the RED color then switch both Red cables. The pix should look normal. Then connect the RED and White audio cables to the audio inputs . Now the Pinkish color is a result of the DVD Player not being set to the "Progressive" setting in the DVD Player Menu. It will help to connect a set of COMPOSITE cables from the DVD Player to the TV's Composite Input. Those are the Yellow,Red and White inputs on both the tv and the DVD Player. This will allow you to see the DVD player menu in case you cannot see the menu while in the Component input. The Pinkish picture should go to a Normal picture.

Lcd tv hookup

Ive got 3 samsung tv's (lcd, plasma, DLP) and I use HDMI cables on all of them. Its the only way to get the full potential out of the tv. When you use the red/white/yellow RCA cables the signal is anolog aka "old technology". Component cables are good but HDMI is the best. HDMI is a digital signal and thats what all the components that go with the tv should be run on. If your dvd player does not have an HDMI output I would suggest getting one that has that output. As for the cable box most require you to upgrade to digital cable in order to get one with an HDMI output. If you dont want to spend the money on new components and run what you have now the picture will stay mediocre at best. Good luck hope this helped

That is correct in assuming that this is a code and it is related to that on-board processor protocol. Yes, many screens are used on many different chassis, but the ways to the means is not always the same. So, you have a schematic for this motherboard? What problem are you having with this set?....accordianman
