A E000 coeds means the error history has detected any one of the following error codes 4 times :E001;E002;E003.
The error can be cleared in the service mode.

Contact Canon Consumer Products 800-828-4040

They do not give out this info and it is quite hard to find.

Ok, latest info..Apparently you can try to reset by pressing switch
    301. On the left hand side of the copier there is a small 2" x 3" door
    lower
rear with one screw. Inside is the side view of a PCB where the switch
    is, and various other adjustments.

Now I am not too sure exactly where that switch is, but if you take a look, you should be able to find it.

    Start with the printer OFF

    1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
    2. release RESUME (while still holding down the POWER)
    3. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
    4.
The green light will blink and the printer will make some noise. Wait
until this is finished, you are now in the printer's diagnostic mode.

To select one of the functions below, use the RESUME button and then press POWER to execute:

    # of RESUME Presses - Light Color - Function

    0 - green - Power Off
1 - orange - Service Test Print: Extended nozzle check pattern
    2 - green - EEPROM information print
    3 - orange - EEPROM initialize
4 - green - reset waste ink counter (For the Canon waste tank full error)

To reset the E000 Error on a Canon Imageclass 2300 do the following:
Press the "user mode" key, release, Press the "Additional Functions" key, release. You should see a change in the display. Scroll thru items, (using cursor key), in display untill you see "#7 PRINTER", press the "OK" key, scroll untill you see "#4 PRINTER RESET, press "OK" key, scroll to "YES", press "OK" key, (you should see an "*" by the word yes), Turn main power off/on. If this does not reset the machine then you will probably need to purchase a fuser assembly for your machine. Canon Part# FG6-8325
Hope this helps,

Solution: Disconnect and reconnect power cord to reset the device:
  1. At the device or at the electrical outlet, disconnect the power cord or adapter.

  2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then reconnect the power cord.

  3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.

FOLLOW UP

well, unfortunately, this a secret kept from others by Canon. They dont even have it on their service manual. But do call the number I posted. Canon support are very friendly and will walk you through the steps.

you can call them at 1-800-828-4040
And a sincere request, please change the fixya rating that you gave to the other bloke who did nothing but do some time wasting measures to keep his solution as #1. I would appreciate it if you assigned that to someone who really gave you some lead to go on.

Cheers!

Eooo

have error message eooo on Canon D860. How do I fix?

Canon imagerunner 210s

EOOO is a thermistor-fuser error. Your machine will need a fuser, but on occasion a power surge can trip the error, E000 needs a code to reset it, I dont know if same but this is the code on a IR 330s
Press the userbutton then press "2" & "8" at the same time and then press userbutton again.
You will now enter servicemode

press " Copier "
press "function"
press "Clear"
press "Error"

leave servicemode by pressing resetbutton twice.

restart machine.

Mind you it is only a reset, if fault still exist it will go eooo again confirming that it needs a new fuser unit.
