Question about Insignia NS-PDVD9
After inserting a new dvd into the player the screen will read "Loading" for a about 40 seconds and then it will read "No Disc". I have tried useing a disc cleaner but it did not help.
Do other DVDs work? Try a music CD to see if it will work. If it does not work, then the Laser pickup unit is failing and will cost more to repair then replace the whole unit. Sorry for the bad news.
Thanks for reading!

Try with it plugged into the power adaptor. I've seen funny behavior when the battery is low.
