Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Sounds like the lamp itself is bad. You will need to replace just the scan head , not the entire scanner assembly.
First of all, try a couple of things.
Try a memory clear, but print out your phone book and dialer numbers, but here is that procedure..
1. Enter Tech Mode by pressing MENU-#-1-9-3-4. (You will see "TECH" in the display.) 2. Press "MENU" then press the Down Arrow until you get to MAINTENANCE. Press "Select." 3. Press the Right Arrow until you get to "MEMORY CLEAR." Press "Select." 4. The first option will be "CLEAR ALL MEMORY." Press "Select." NOTE: The option to do a Total Memory Clear is available ONLY in Tech Mode. If the option does not come up in MEMORY CLEAR, go back to step 1 to try reentering Tech Mode. 5. After the machine clears memory, reenter (or upload from your PWS) all System Data and Phone Book settings. (If necessary, run a System Data report and compare it to your original report to detect any changes needed.)
