Question about Computers & Internet
Go to Start>control panel>add & remove programs. When the list comes up , click on uninstall by AOL. It will search for all versions that you have. If you want to save any data you tell it do it. It will place a folder on your desktop. Make sure you uninstall everything. It might say it has to uninstall something to uninstall AOL. Say ok. If this solved your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If you need more help just add a comment and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks and have a nice day.

Download and install "Registry Mechanic" then do the updates prior to running it and removing anything for the first time. This will get rid of all your current Registry errors.
Try AOL again.
If AOL is still not working...
Shut down completely for at lest 30 seconds, then restart.
Then do a search for all AOL files and folders with the options "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders" checked. Delete all of those found.
Restart then run Registry Mechanic again.
