Can a nx9110 charger /ac adapter work on an ibm thinkpad t30

Thefollowing three conditions should be met for you to use a charger safely. 1)Output Voltage is within +/- 5% of your old charger's output.
For example, ifyour old charger provides 19.5V, then you can use a charger that provides 20.5Vor 18.5V.
2) Output Current is the same or higher than that of your old charger.
For example, ifyour original adapter provides 3.42 Amps, then you can use a charger thatprovides 3.42 Amps, 3.9 Amps or higher.
3) Connector tip must fit securely into your laptop. Pleasecheck carefully before using nx9110 adapter on t30.

Power adapter of Avocent SwitchView® 1000

All power adapters usually have a label on the bottom of the adapter that show voltage and current for both the input and output connector, unless that label has been removed. Your KVM switch may have the voltage and current requirements printed on a label on the bottom of the device.

1st how do i caulcate the total amount of amps?

You'll need what is known as a AC clamp-on meter, but, I'll warn you they are very expensive. What exactly are you trying to survey? Power usage by appliances and the such?

Look on the spec plate for volts and amps. Multiply volts times amps for watts.

Microwave overload

Microwaves can use a lot of amps. By law all over the range micros are supposed to be put on a dedicated 20 am circuit. That means nothing else is on the circuit but the microwave.

While your plug in micros won't generate as much amperage usage as the over the range types, your business will generate a lot of usage during peak times. It would be best if you had some on a separate circuit.

Eventually, especially if all run at the same time, you are asking for trouble. At the very least you will cause damage to the micros. At the worst you can burn some out.

Consider placing two in different places in your cafeteria, and you can still put them on surge protectors. But the amount of money you will save by turning them off for the night will be negligible.

Worry more about too many amps on one circuit.

I have a Sony Xplod XM-1652Z 1000 W. I am using it to power my 2 Infinity 10" subs with 1052 watts on each Max. My problem is that when i turn on the volume too high the subs would stop working. My friend...

Sony audio products are not worth the buck, you will be facing worst problems in the future, my advice is just to change the amps. It is causing the problem, it cant handle frequencies when volume is turned up. and it may say 1000 watts but actually this is the peak rating your amp can handle thus meaning that it couldnt handle constant high volume usage, try crunch, kicker or hifonics amp, and look at the RMS rating on the amps when shoping.

What voltage is the dc adapter?

You will need at least a 4 amp rated regulated 12 Volt power supply.
These are commercialy available from most electronics parts suppliers.
They come on a circuit board. You can mount it in your own case and
use the original Viewsonic wire end. If you do a google search for 12
volt reglated power supplies you should find many of these.

However, with a second-hand Sprint AC adapter with 3A,
12v adapter, the screen blinks on and off
intermittently. Obviously there is some difference here between a class
2 adapter and a power supply box.
