I have no power on my Acer projector. is there a way to reset this?

Many projectors shut down if they cannot find anything attached to them.
Make sure you have a computer attached and sending an image out to it before you hit the projector reset button again.
It's a bit like the chicken and the egg since some laptops won't send an image out the cable unless it senses a projector, and the projector shuts down if it does not detect an incoming signal fast enough.

hold the power button until it beeps or turns on ect but keep holding it and it should reset

for acer p1120 pinkish tint solved:

reset your lamp hours

do hard reset :

power off beamer

unplug power cord and press power at same time

replug power cord in beamer and press power button for 10 sec

now it should turn up normal again pink is gone

i called acer also with solution so they can also help you out if you dont get it done

acer pd100d does not receive signal from pc or laptop, changed cables too. only shows white screen with acer logo and no signal, worked until yesterday, buttons dont respond and cannot reset the unit to factory defaults. please help

I found a solution that worked for me:

1. Turn on the projector

2. Press "Power > Left > Left > MENU" (Opens the system menu)

3. Choose "RD Menu"

4. Choose " EEPROM Restore" (the projector turn off and the power lamp blink red for about 1 minut. Then it stops)

5. Turn on the projector again and it should work again

push and hold the circle arrow button and power up, then release. if not, make sure the hide button is not enabled.Not much help on this one good luck

Found reset in menu. the first time I turned it on after replacing bulb it would not let me reset, but after I turned it off then back on I was able to do it. Not sure if this was a fluke or not.

Hook up a playing DVD to the unit via component and try again.
