Disk not Spinning

Basically, you may have to backup your local save data and erase it if you're on the Xbox One. If you're on the PS4, you'll need to try and clear the console's cache. The guide tells you how to do both. Hope this works for you!

your disk and player must be compatable, you cant play dvd's in a blue ray player, you cant use blue rays in a dvd player, you cant use ps4 games in an xbox and you cant put cd's in a record player... hope that helps!

Because of the new higher resolution graphics with new generation consoles, each game requires a download to ensure that it runs smoothly at 1080p with no lag. Some larger games, for example GTA V, take upwards of 50GB on your hard drive along with the disk in order to run smoothly.

Clean the disc drive

If it does this with all disks then the unit is NG. If only with one disk, then the disk is damaged and cannot be read by the player.

The PS4 will allow you to use an external drive to store data other than games. If you put a game on an external drive, it wont work. The drive in the unit is 500Gb

Is your ps3 a 60 gig,because I remember my old ps3 freezing on gta as well,try playing without being signed in to psn.

what is gta4?

Bring the game back to where ever you may have made the purchase, there reason could be a possible faulty disk, the main thing to ask yourself is....Are you able to play another game? if so, does this issue occur?
If yes, then there is a HIGH change it is your remote, however...if not, then it is the disk, for GTA4, Let me know how it goes,
