the pc picks up connections but it keeps saying pending and nothing happens. new to this. do i need any accessories to make this work?

- I have the same problem, and im pratically sat on the bloody wireless box, so its not signal strengh... sometimes it connect, reboot, it then wont.. have to remove it from the network connections, bouce it, then try aand re join the wireless.. sometimes works, sometimes not.. its really hit and miss - fozzywozzy26Solution #1

What type computer? Wireless network ? FROM the language you are using [" picks up connection"] It is wireless. You may be picking up "outside" signals. When they are weak, you may get something!,then u loose it. Thats why "pending & nothing happens"

same problem with Eeepc. both for wireless and land line. it just stays on 'pending'. ( when you open the details, in the log it says, no DHCPOFFERS received. No working leases in persistent database - sleeping. runparts -- verbose/etc/network/ )
