Acer orbicam I have the Acer Travelmate7513 with acer orbicam ,the cam stopped working after only a few weeks of purchase it will work when i'm on skype or when it's in it's screen saver mode but when i try to click on it i just get ,a problem has caused the orbicam to stop working ,windows is searching for a remedy, thats been about 3 mnths now, can you help please. The obvious thing is to upgrade the driver.. Have you tried that? Also when you say windows are searching..? I assume you mean you have reported the problem to Microsoft? If you have installed some new software, it may be caused by that.. Also you might try to fall back to an earlier restore point. That is always an option. It does seem as if the driver is fine, otherwise you would not be able to use it on Skype, which means it's probably related to Windows. I'd upgrade the driver or fallback to a previous restore point via Windows.. Let me know if you need further explanation..
