Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I don't necessarily have a problem.I only wish for some advise and/or guidance on how to refill H P 02 cartridges. Is this a good idea or no? Seems that yellow and lt blue always run out first. Is it feasable to refill these rather than buy separate cartridges ?

Possible to refill them but kind of a **** shoot. It involves making a hole in the top pouring more ink in and then plugging the top again. One it can be hard to do right. Two If you get it wrong you'll most likely end up making a mess and or filling your printer full of ink. In my opinion it is easier, safer, and more reliable to just buy a new cartridge. If not your taking your printers life in your own hands be careful.

Hope this helps. M~

Not necessarily that you have to buy a new cartridge just refill an original cartridge instead of an alternative replacement one!

Refilling procedure

You need to specify what brand is your printer. But the procedure is as simple as dirty. Make sure you have a cloth or paper to handle the messy part :).
Requirements: 1. Printer-Ink 2. Syringe with thin needle3. Piece of cloth
I will write how to refill HP cartridge, because I don't know your model.Ususally Hp cartridges have colored or black spot ont white sticker.Under this spot there is a tiny hole. This hole is designed to be used for refilling. You need to pierce the spot with the needle and start the refilling process.Make sure that there are no bubbles in the syringe and start filling slowly the cartridge. Do not hurry! Don't fill the cartridge to its full capacity. If your cartridge is 20ml fill only 15 or 16ml.After you finish set aside the cartridge for 30 minutes so that the ink settle. This is it!Good luck!

How to refill Canon laser LBP3108b printer cartrige?

Hello,

Refilling of the toner cartridge is not advisable because the power is very fine and you don not want to breath in this toner powder. This is dangerous to our health. You can purchase a new toner cartridge or a recharged the toner cartridge these are cheaper than a new cartridge. You can be print some pages in a empty toner cartridge by shaking the toner cartridge in a horizontal position and inserting back into the printer. Hope this simple tips will help you.

Good day and Best Regards.

I want to refill my Canon 103/303/703 Cartridge I dont know how to open it

Below is the video guide to refill the canon 703 cartridge (hp 2612a / canon fx 10 / canon fx 9 / canon cartridge 703). However, it is advisable only if the existing cartridge is in a good condition. It is always better to replace supplies with original as they provide good yield.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

Is it possible to use non HP ink in ths printer? Tried using "remanufactured ink", and concluded that this printer may be programed to block the use of NON HP INK.

It is always recommended to use genuine HP cartridges.
As if we will use the non HP or refilled cartridges, it will reduce the life of the printer.
And we will get an error "cartridge problem".
Plaese use the below cartridges, which are compatible with this printer.
HP 02 Black 660 pages
HP 02 Black Twin Pack 1320 pages
HP 02 Color Combo See single 02 inks
HP 02 Cyan 400 pages
HP 02 Light Cyan 240 photos
HP 02 Light Magenta 240 photos
HP 02 Magenta 370 pages
HP 02 Photo Value Pack 150 photos
HP 02 Yellow 500 pages
HP 02XL Cyan 600 pages
HP 02XL Magenta 555 pages
HP 02XL Yellow 750 pages

How do I refill 2460 cartridges,colour and black ?

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Error message U051 on canon MP460

Check the Label on the cartridge if it covers a certain area then you will get an error message. Compare it with a good cartridge the label should nearly touch the lugs at top end. Only applies to refilled Carts.

Hp 02 cartridges problem

hi markyw77 it seems to be a widespresd problem with orginal and non-orginal cartridges. (I have had a lot of printers brought in and have had to be sent back to Hp) .

If you can I would advise sending your printer back to Hp. You can say that you have had refil's in but to avoid arguements I would say that you have only had orginals in.

Ink cartridge

You basically got scammed on that purchase. The important detail they didn't tell you was that the chips need to be reset on these cartridges. By resetting the chip you are telling the printer it has a full cartridge. Once the chip thinks the cartridge is empty it will cease to print. That's why you got the cartridge to print some and then it quit. You don't necessarily have to buy original Canon cartridges, but you do need to make sure you are buying refills with reset chips. I recommend Cartridge World for refills. I would stay away from internet sellers because they pull stuff like this on you and give you terrible ink.
