Hi,
Have purchased an Hitachi HDC-756E Camera but can't connect to my PC - message says " One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it .........".
Any ideas , is the camera faulty ?

This camera uses SD memory cards - avoid connecting the camera to the PC - it only causes problems - get a card reader for $7
Get a SD card reader, take the memory card out of the camera and transfer the images by using the reader
-it's faster
-it's more reliable
- you don't eat up camera batetry life
-you can continue shooting with another card
- you can recharge while downloading pictures
