Help My screen on the laptop is fine, but the screen projected has a pink tinge to it. When I play a DVD or VHS through the projector it is fine. The projected screen in pinkish when projecting from a laptop.
Could this be a cable issue? The pins all look fine. The cable is a M1 to VGA with USBCould this be a cable issue? The pins all look fine. The cable is a M1 to VGA with USB

First try a new vga cable. if the problem persists, go into the menu and find the settings to that computer output. chances are it's on component. set it to vga. if that doesn't help, reset back to factory default, then set it to vga.

To reset the lamp timer , press the increase volume button on the remote and the increase volume button within 3 seconds
The maintenance manual is on the infocus web site
first swap out the source cable. if the problem persists, reset the settings to factory default. if the problem still persists, your colorwheel may be bad.
most of infocus parts are oem and made by a company in taiwan that no longer makes power supplies, and many of the parts have their stock numbers and not neccesarily a common stock. the power supply, however, is in stock at infocus for about $65.
I haven't serviced an infocus projector before, But I have seen 3 or 4 Red cutting out display simptoms on projectors caused by bent or pushed in gold pins on the VGA leads. (it always seems to be red!) I won't comment on insides but do check this basic tip before delving in too deep. Good Luck
Hello, It sounds like you may be feeding it with an HDMI source using an HDMI to M1-D adapter...
If this is the case, make sure the source in not set to a resolution higher than 720p. However I really need more information to offer a definitive solution.
when you have a tint on the projector its not a lamp issue, it is a connectivity issue you have to check the cables if they are connected firmly, or swap the cables with good known cables , if this doesn't help you have to send the projector to infocus repair center, since it is a DLP projector this may require engine /major repair
good luck. not even the infocus authorized service centers get those. besides, they were made by another company that does not make power supplies antmore. and infocus doesn't have any new ones in stock. if you're getting no power at all, replace the mosfets. it works half of the time.
