Question about Computers & Internet
It is unclear to me whether your system will support a DVD burner. This is something that is influenced by the BIOS of a PC.
I found two places where your model is discussed, the first would seem to imply that the 3680 will support it:

upgradeable to 2 GB DVD-Combo optical drive CD and DVD-ROM compatibility and lets you burn up to 700 MB of data on CD-R/RWs for easy backups
doesn’t seem to indicate that it can be added.
Look at your manual to see if your machine has a flash BIOS that can be upgraded. If so, it would be wise to go to the Acer website and download the latest BIOS version before you plan on adding a DVD burner.
