Use the Samsung Media Center to transfer files - make sure you installed the install CD first - available at Samsung website if you have misplaced the software.

Firmware upgrade if the methods fail to resolve.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I'm gonna start with your last problem, the memory. Phones usually have 2 places to store files, the phone's storage, and the mini-hardisk storage. Try to seek your phone, in BlueTooth settings, where to store files, or when you browse your files, just look somewhere that says other than Phone Storage. Bottom line is that you have to change where the files go. For the first problem, try and unplug your phone after you copied the sound into mp3 folder, and then replug it, does it still appear in the MP3 folder? Contact me live for more help.

How to download music to my philips 8GB mp3 player

Try going to my computer and then opening one of the removable drives. There should be a "music" folder in there and you can just drag and drop your music onto it. If this doesn't work you should be able to use Windows Medis Player to sync the music to your mp3 player.

How can i put photos in my mp3?

The player only supports .jpg extension files. Picture files must be put in the "Media" folder (if Windows Media Player 10TM is installed) or "Internal Storage" folder (if Windows Media Player 11TM is installed).

Hope this helps :)

The device is not recognizing the file name. The Garmin GPS will only recognize MP3 files. Ipod (MP4) and other media files will not play. Converting the files to the MP3 format will correct the problem.

Make sure you have copied the file to the correct folder in your Mp3 player. Sometimes if it is copied under a different folder, you will have the issue you have just described..

Hello,
That usually happens when you are using Windows Media Player to download music. WIndows Media downloads music into folders either by artist or the title of the CD. Your best bet will be to start over. Connect your MP3 player to your computer, if Windows Media opens close it. Go to My computer and click on MP3 player or Removable disk. It should say Internal storage. Right click on internal storage and select format. This will erase all your files in the MP3 player so please make sure you have copies of this files. After you are done formatting. Open Internal storage and leave the window open, it should be empty. Go to start, search, picture, music or video, check the music box and click search. All your music files should appear when is done searching, just click and drag one song at a time. into the the internal storage window. Remember do not use folders just click and drag one song at time. This should take care of your problem. If you still have any questions. Please contact Audiophase at 818-767-2843 ext 117
