Is the map compatible with your software for Nokia? For eg, you can download Google maps without any problem, but if you try a Route66 map, then you need the Route66Sync software, etc.

If it is a compatible map, follow these steps to install:

1. Download the correct version of Nokia Maps to your PC and install it with PC suite or transfer the installer to your phone.

2. Launch the Nokia Maps application on your phone if installed with PC suite or locate the installer and run it. Follow the instructions. Launch application after installation finishes.

3. Download and install Nokia Map Loader for your Windows PC. Follow the on-screen instructions during installation.

4. Download map files with Nokia Map Loader and transfer them to your phone.

You can download the Nokia Map Loader software from HERE if you don't have it already.

P.S. - If you find that the solution/answer I provided led you to, or resulted in a fix, please close the ticket with a FixYa! rating. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation.

Hi,

To my knowledge, maps used by the Nokia 6110 Navigator must be in an *.SIS file format. Any other format will not be recognizable therefore not accessible though may be downloaded to the phone.

Perhaps what is needed is a software converter to transform your existing map file to an *.SIS format. The phone's firmware for maps and navigations has been designed/limited to recognized these map files only.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

    Could you pls post back the map's file name extension so as to determine if a software for such conversion is available?

    Hi again,

    To my knowledge, am afraid it is not possible. A *.tif
    image is very basic graphic file whereas an *.sis is a simulated 3D
    image.

    Perhaps you can try doing a Google for "convert *.tif to *.sis".

    Good luck with your project.

How to format nokia 6233?

dial *#7370# and insert 12345 as phone code

or use three finger method, follow this step

Turns off the phone
Press simultaneously on the green/talk, 3 and* keys and hold the 3 keys.
Turn on your phone
Wait for the onscreen Format message then can release the three keys
This method may also work for Nokia phones that won't turn on.
Note that before making a reset on Nokia's latest phone
using the *#7370# or the 3 finger method, better make a backup, as you will automatically delete important data:
The license for pre-loaded contents (music, video, maps,etc..) and pre-installed application (N-gage).

How do you change the answering machine message?

In a Panasonic TVA voice mail system, there are 100+32 different boxes that you can record into. We supply the map and directions at installation. Try contacting whoever put the system in, or look around for some paperwork and software to access the VM.

Unlike the old TVS systems, where we put the Day, Night, and Holiday greetings in specific boxes, the TVA has that visual **** and you don't get the opportunity to lock the greetings into specific boxes. Now, it's just sort of numeric.

I have recorded a new night message but the old one still plays

Panasonic brand Voice Mail sytems (like TVA) allow you to record a message in 100+32 different boxes. Just because you put them there, you still have to point to them. In a TVA, you have software and a map that guides you to the proper box.

We supply that information at installation.

Local exchanges for phone number 6106506622

Our state PUC has a set of EAS (Extended Area Service) exchange maps. I don't see one for PA, but maybe you can search for a Norristown directory. Here are the local exchanges and a link to the PA PSC.

http://www.areacodedownload.com/610/index.html

Here's a 610/484 map. I see that they now have 1000's block pooling so you might have to go down to an exact number.

Norristown is in Montgomery County btw

please take the phone to a nearest nokia service center they shall help you with the same. there would be a small chare you would have to pay for that. aslo some other mobile repiar shops can help with the same but i wont reccomend you that and some technicians at that shops are untrained and might damage your phone.

Have a nice day !!

Map sensor

Hi,

Have not worked on an HD but my thoughts and additional guesses would be:
1. fuel contamination (water at bottom of tank);
2. primary pump (in my case it was inside the fuel tank & might not be present in your bike);
3. fuel lines & clamps to & from primary pump or to the carbs;
4. in line filters;
5. vacuum controlled fuel valve (oppose to the usual manual petcock)
6. if it were the MAP sensor, bike wouldn't even run a block away + idling would be rough;
7. by chance are you using a Power Commander?

Also your post "bike will start and run fine for a few blocks then die" indicates that indeed fuel got into the carbs before but not when running meaning the bike used what was inside the bowl and was not replenished.  Alternately, the fuel flow to the carbs might not be sufficient and there is a leak or a blockage somewhere.

As said might not work for your bike but has come across some of the above on numerous occasions.

Good luck and Kind regards.

Ride Safe.
