Video drivers

It either has an Nvidea or a SIS video card you need find out which generic driver loaded so you know which manufacture website to go to to get the Win7 driver. You can as well type dxdiag in the windows file search window and it will display that information if you dont know how to get to your device manager.

When my dell c521 is powerd, it hangs after the dell screen loads and hands at the phonix bios screen.the 3 lights in front all stand on, so it does not boot into windows.what is the problem pls

It means that the video cannot be displayed on your monitor. Either your monitor is bad or your video card is bad. If you do not have a video (PCI) card installed then you are using the integrated video circuit built into your motherboard. If that's the case, you need to replace the motherboard.

I was having problems with my gforce 5200 video driver with 128meg ram mem on it. I deleted it from the system settings and now I can boot into windows. I am dead in the water? Did I lose my hardrive, or...

Deleting video drivers alone should not keep you from booting into windows, you should be able to boot, but your display will look like it is set for a blind person using generic drivers loaded by windows. This would normally leave you the opportunity to log on to the internet and download card-specific drivers from the manufacturer.

What exactly is it doing?

When i turn on my computer the monitor remains in stand by with the screen black and it says There is no signal coming from your computer.

Hi the first thing to do is switch it all off at the mains, then unplug everything from the back of your computer then plug everything back in doing this will remove any static build up that could be causing problems with your video card.
then check the cables at the monitor end if they dont come out of the monitor give them a wiggle just to make sure they are not loose then plug everything back in and switch it all on.

if after doing the above you still have no picture then the problem is going to be with the video or graphics card in your computer, if this is the case then the chances are it has over heated if this is the case then replacing the graphics card should solve your problem, if how ever your computer dont have a graphics card and its just plugged into the mother board then this itself may need replacing.

let me know what happens after you have unplugged everything ok

plz rate this solution as i have loads of posts that are unrated taking up my whole page, thanks
