Question about HP Pavilion dv8000z Notebook
When I want to type @ as in an email address I have to type " to get the @. and vice versa. How do I correct this please.
Normally, this problem occurs if you language setting is different from your Keyboard language. All you need to do is change the setting of your keyboard language from Regional language settings from the control panel. Normally if your PC is pure US English, you should use English (US).
Hope this helps.
If it does please vote. Thanks!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
