I can not use my installation CD for my digital camera( Slick DC 14s)

Hi Mom
The disc is only a photo software program that will allow you to do different things with the photos. You have a web cam on that camera and if you go here:
http://www.2000shareware.com/info/picmaster/26023/

and download/run this program it should have the drives to enable the webcam plus more for photo fixing.
Good luck,
Darcy

How to recover pictures from sony cybershot

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download this photo recovery software called asoftech photo recovery
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

I am looking for a "travel-lens" for my D60. Which is one is the most suitable and the most powerful? How can I get training videos for D60?

Nikon makes several lenses that might suit you as a travel lens. Nikon's 18-105mm, 18-135mm, and 18-200mm all cover a useful range of focal lengths from wide angle to telephoto. Third party manufacturers such as Sigma and Tamron also make lenses with comparable focal length ranges. Which one is best for you depends on many factors, not the least of which are your budget, your photography style, and the weight you're willing to carry.

As for training videos, there are several excellent ones available.

A free video on Nikon's web site:

Free advice on how to use a fuji fine pix camera S5100 as a web cam to comunicate

Yes you can! Two other software notes: ImageMixer VCD2 for Mac is included, which lets you turn your photos into a VCD slideshow. Drivers are also included that allow Windows XP users to also use the S5100 as a webcam for videoconferencing.

Can i use this camera as a Web Cam like some other cameras?

step 1 Check the manual of your digital camera to see if it can be used as a webcam. Many digital cameras have this functionality and even come with webcam software. If your camera didn't come with webcam software, use a third party web cam application such as SarmSoft WebCam. Find SarmSoft WebCam at ShareUp.com.
Step 2 Plug your digital camera's power adapter into the camera. Some won't function as a webcam unless they are plugged into A/C power. Even if your digital camera functions as a webcam while on batteries, A/C power saves your batteries and prevents your camera from shutting off in the middle of a broadcast.
Step 3 Connect a video cable into your digital camera's video "out" port. Your camera likely came with a cable made for connecting it to a to a video source. Plug the other end of the video cable into your video card's video "in" port.
Step 4 Set up your camera as close to your monitor as possible. This allows better face to face communication.
Step 5 Position yourself about 2 to 3 feet away from your digital camera. Most digital camera's focus best at this distance when used as a webcam.
Step 6 Use a separate microphone if your digital camera doesn't transmit sound when used as a webcam. Plug the microphone into the microphone jack of your sound card
