When that shows up on Television click on menu and go to vchip then go under tv ratings and MPAA rations and click view next to the ratings you want to allow on the tv

I used several anti-virus, anti-malware programs.. restarted after each run.. finally got rid of it...(and I quit downloading p*rn from shady sites).. never got it again...

you must go to MENU , and reset to the condition from factory. If you have some doubt , read your instr. manual , if you do not have download from www.fitness.manualsonline.com
The first question is,does the copy protected mean the program or the video copy? Did you pay for the program? And, if you actually bought it, or it doesn't mean the program, did you try to capture video with some webcams and the like? ShowBiz 2 may not allow people to record video from one copy to another with laws. Other programs have the same restrictions, too. You can try ShowBiz 5, which I used recently, it's good!
V-chip Block TV- 14 - this is a rating for movies and TV programs. Basically means PG-13 like the old movie theater rating.
lsv- means, language, ***, violence.
You TV can be set to block these programs. In you menu look for a catagory called "locks" or "ratings"
there you will find the options of what can be veiwed and what will be blocked. if you everything to be available, just disable all settings. if you want to choose different things to be allowed, just click on the icons and they become blocked.
Go to the TV setup menu and look for the V-Chip settings. Turn it off altogether or if you have children you may want to just raise the block up to MA, R, or X rated programs

Your TV's program rating, also known as parental lockout, is active and set for TV-14 Your set will block any programs broadcasted with this or a higher rating. You need to enter your menues and find the one related to the rating guide. This menu also has a password, usually 4 digits to gain access. You need to change the rating or disable the lockout. instead of protected i think the word your looking for is archived??? If so just hit "2nd" then the + key then go to Memory managment/delete. Hit all and then hit enter on the program you want to unprotect. That should work. I hope this is what you wanted. Good luck
Hello to all, go to your TV menu and go to V-chip set up, then go thru and see that you don't have any channels blocked. If you do and you are watching a show with that rating, you will receive the "protected program message".
