My sandisk-sansa mp3 is not getting charged even though its connected .Its a new piece and what should i do

Replace the internal Li-Po battery, but try a reset first.

If your Sansa player is freezing, not charging or not turning on, the first thing to try is a reset of the unit. This will normally clear any temporary condition that may cause the player to freeze or not shut off completely, it's a bit like when your PC crashes and you need to re-start it to clear the error.

sounds like its defective if it is not charging. Or the battery is going bad, is there a way you can replace the battery? As for it suddenly stopping, try a different album, maybe its specific mp3s that are corrupt? All else fails call up the company and see what they say.

Plug the device to computer, let it charge about 30 minutes to an hour. Then, unplug it and turn it on.

sansa fuze mp3 players are notoriously pieces of ****. they malfunction randomly, and most of the time, unfortunately, cannot be fixed. i have experienced this first hand. even though it's actually a problem with their software, or the hardware in it. my advice is seek third party repair help.

your lithium battery is probably fried.

If it has an eternal battery that gets charged it sounds like the battery has lived its last life and you need to get a new battery for it. Than it should work fine.

Unplug your Sansa. Uninstall all the Sansa software from your computer, and reinstall the clean version from the Sandisk website. Then, replug the Sansa.

try to get a new battery out of the manufacturers warranty it might just be a bad battery that cant hold the charge
