Have you tried a full factory reset and leaving it powered down for a while?
Also has it been dropped or jarred recently? that may cause some connections to come loose to the LED header.

it doesnt need an on off switch. just try unplugging it for a while.
One of the first diagnostic steps for any router or firewall is to reset it, powering down, then to try a factory reset. Check the manual for that specific router for how to reset it. After that please describe the problem In Detail and we can go from there.

Hello I am trying to to install my new 7550 Netgear router but I cannot access this ip addresses Please help I cannot access this pos lol Thanks Miles

this may be a bit technical ,but stay with me , the address your trying to access is in a different subnet (security reason) the machine your using to access this router has to be in a Ip range of
to it will not be able to "see" the device this address is typically used for router config as its not a common used number and so it's unlikely to have any conflicts, however after you config the router , both it and the machines on its network should be set to something in the range of to as this is a more typical range of numbers to use on a small network and should help to eliminate any future config problems as new devices are added in the future

I put my user name and password and can not get it working, shows error401

Configuration corruption inside the router - you will have to reset it and set new ones. If it's the same with the new ones then it's a failed EPROM chip - the chip that stores the settings. In that case the router is dead, replace it.

Hello, My roommate and I play World of Warcraft...

I would reset the router to default settings and use the good version of the firmware. OR delete your existing internet setup and then re-add it (do this if you didnt factory default your router before upgrading firmware)

I need help resetting user name and password

Using your browser, enter to access the D-Link router management. It may ask for a username and password. If so, use admin in both boxes.

From there, look for the box containing the SSID. It will look familiar as it’s the name you gave the router when you first set it up. That is where you change it.

Next, look in the Security section for the passphrase and you can change it here.

Attaching gigaware antenna kit to linksys wrt54g wireless router

Versions 8.0 and above for this router DO NOT have detachable antenna.
You will NOT be able to detach the antenna on any wrt54g that has a serial number that begins with the following:
A trend with any linksys router model is earlier versions are better (more RAM, linux os, faster chip, detachable antenna, etc), later models are exercises in cost cutting to deliver the 'same' specs on the box.
