I assume that u replaced or tried a different ear phones?
The female SOCKET on those things are small and special..Imagine a question mark [ ? ] one facing left, the other facing right, One just slightly BELOW the other. You wil notice that the MALE has a metal tip, a RING of plastic, then another metal ring with the plastic holder at the other end [the wires extends out of this end]
If you can see down the hold, u may see the two(2) "" question Marks "". The 1st metal tip should touch the lowest and the 2nd metal ring on male plug touches upper "" ?? "". push plug in and SLIGHTLY move around while the unit is ON AND PLAYING MUSIC. If the unit can be heard in stero, then the INNERS are loose. If the female socket moves, then one of your contacts are "desoldered" called " cold solder joint. u may need a tech.
Delicated operation!!!

Wont spin. Called repair person, he said the "transmission" was not working and would cost $300 plus to fix. I paid $470 for the machine new may 2009. I thought washing machines lasted longer...

before we go to far you said the machine is only 19 months old if this is the case it should still be within warranty as all new machine have a standard 2 year warranty from the manufacturer where they will foot the bill for any repairs, if it cost u 470 and yor gonna pay 300 to fix it? its kinda a no brainer (no offense intended). think long term if it breaks jus once more and needs to b fixed and it costs over 170 you've just paid the same amount as it cost for a new one and if its breaking down at 19 months it is definatly gonna breakdown again. my professional advice go buy a brand new washer with an extended warranty, most people think extended warranty's are a trick to get you to pay an extra 50 bucks but it is well worth it in the long run

My skull candy head phones dont work

The wires probably broke. Check by the plug to see if you can tell if any are messed up. This is most likely your problem (happened to me with other brands as well, so don't give up on skullcandy) and means you will just have to buy a new pair.

well the board is one of the cheaper ones in the set, but its also the hardest to get too. i would call a local service center and ask them what they would charge to replace a control board.. if i had to guess i would say about 300 bucks prob..but i would call around

Less sound on one ear than the other

Yeah, based on all of your problems, i would safely say that you have a blown speaker. Call up Bose at 1-800-999-2673. If the headphones are under warranty (1 year) they will replace them for free. If now, they will charge you $100 for a replacement pair, which is quite a deal considering that the headphones cost $300.

Cannot hear music

The bad news is that your headphone jack is most likely shot. The soldered connections inside are most likely broken. This is not repairable generally, at least not for a cost that would be reasonable. Music will play through your computer because it can be read off your player through the USB connection. Use it as a data storage drive and buy a new one, or a used one. I've seen used T30s on Amazon for around $30 to $40.

Headphone jack

For my mp3 player I just took a simple peice of aluminum foil and wrapped it around my headphone piece. I shoved it in the mp3 player slot and it worked perfectly.
