Question about RaidMax Samurai 908 Yellow Mid Tower ATX Case (420W PS) (CSRMSAMURAIYL)
One side of my mp3 headphone is not working since a month..what to do???? the new one costs around 300 bucks...could i give that for repair??
I assume that u replaced or tried a different ear phones?
The female SOCKET on those things are small and special..Imagine a question mark [ ? ] one facing left, the other facing right, One just slightly BELOW the other. You wil notice that the MALE has a metal tip, a RING of plastic, then another metal ring with the plastic holder at the other end [the wires extends out of this end]
If you can see down the hold, u may see the two(2) "" question Marks "". The 1st metal tip should touch the lowest and the 2nd metal ring on male plug touches upper "" ?? "". push plug in and SLIGHTLY move around while the unit is ON AND PLAYING MUSIC. If the unit can be heard in stero, then the INNERS are loose. If the female socket moves, then one of your contacts are "desoldered" called " cold solder joint. u may need a tech.

Tips for a great answer:
Dec 14, 2012 | Lenovo B575-1450A5U - IdeaPad Laptop / AMD...
Oct 17, 2012 | Gateway Sa631sa6mb0020 Motherboard...
The Laptop has 3 Ports on the side- Pink,Green,Black
Pink Port is LineIn for an external device player jack
Green Port is LineIn for the Microphone jack
Black Port is LineOut for Headset or External Speakers jack
Plug the Green jack on Headphone - into the Black Port on the laptop.
b) Go to Control Panel and open - RealTek HD Audio manager
On the top of Page are 3 Icons -
One Icon is labelled Speakers One is for Digital optics, one is for Mic,
The Speakers Icon is misleading as it is also for Headphones (LineOut)
Select Speaker Icon and make it Default. Also tick Full Range - Front LR
Ignore the 4 vertical Analog Icons on the right side.
You should now have Headphone sound if your volume is not Muted.
click start control panel on the left select hardware and sound then select manage audio devices then recording you should see a microphone right click select enable windows 7
or you might have to depending on your operating system
Click start Control Pannel
click on Hardware and Sound
click on Sound
then you devices should come up ; speakers, Digital Audio, and headphones
plug your headphones in
then select headphones
at the bottom it will say set as default
then when you disconnect your headphones it automatically switches to the speakers and when you plug them back in it automatically will switch to headphones
