The drain hose runs from the bottom of the fzr to the tray under the fridge. The easiest point to access it is in the fridge compartment there will be a ketch basin (a plastic piece that ketches water from the freezer) with a plastic tube attached to it. This tube is what you want to clean I use compressed air on the tube and to blow up into fzr. good luck

Water drip at base of freezer door at bottom!

Have you had a chance to locate the location the water inside freezer? There are many reasons for this to happen I just can not say it would be a defrost condensate drain blockage. Most times it is. Every 8 to 10 hours your freezer defrost and the water is surposed to follow a pipe or drain through the refrigerator to a pan below refrigerator where the warm air from condenser evaporates the water back to the air inside your home. That drain line sometimes slowly becomes blocked and then the drain hole becomes clogged with ice. Once that happens the drain needs to be cleared. I will try to help you solve this so for now I need you to see if water looks as if it came from rear of freezer. Placing photos on Flickr would be great! So tell me where you see it and yes we may need to pull a few things out. This is nothing a few towels, hair dryer hot water and Clorox and a wet vacuum cannot handle. Sea Breeze

General Elec. refrig. about 12 yrs. old. water in bottom of frig., cleaned up, found water a second time.

drain is cloged. at some point the ref section was set too cold. the defrost water from freezer drains through the ref back wall. becaust it was set too cold the drain froze. two ways to fix .... empty unit and unplug for 24 hrs. OR remove back panel, defrost drainrail, remove bottom panel ,remove ice, insert 1/4 inch tube down drain, and squirt very hot water down drain till it is clear of ice..... when defrosted set ref on "3"

Water accumulating in bottom of kenmore

It's likely the condensate drain is plugged. You can access it from the back of the refrigerator. You can disconnect from the inside of the fridge and blow it out to ensure it is not blocked, then reconnect.

I have water leaking into the ref compartment from the freezer

I would get a pipe cleaner or wire and clean out the rest of the drain hose. also use HOT water down the drain. untill all the water drain thru the hose.

after you get it clear run a wire down the drain and wrap it around the heater .. heat from the wire will keep it clear of ice..
