issue printing in black ink after changing to new catridge, other colors prints fine except black -Venu

all the other colors work except for black i just got a new black in cartiridge and it does not work it used to work before

There is a very good chance that your brand new cartridge is defective. If you have another cartridge put that in and see what happens. If the second cartridge works and the first didn't then it is for sure a defective cartridge.

There is nothing on Brother's website referring to this situation, so I would bet that it is a defective cartridge.
