Nokia 1200 sim card registration failed problem: any sloution plz help me

If registration failed it could be due to a couple of problems

first :phone locked, cant help you sorry
second: try to clean Sim card slot
third: try if the SIM card is working (check for damages)

it means that your sim card is been closed or banned by the company.
this happens due to incomplete documents submitted while activation or your validity had been expired.

Remove the SIM card. Clean the contacts on the card an phone with an dry cloth and replace.

buy a new sim card thats the problem in your sim card

try to insert your sim to other mobile then try balance inquiry after you have recieved the message turn off your mobile, remove the sim card and insert it again to your nokia 5800.

most of this nokia phone(the old ones) do often experience such problem due to it's constant falling on the ground.
in such cases after restarting the phone the problem should be corrected for a while...............using a NEW sim card and practically the one of a network with the strongest signal does in most cases rectifies the problem a bit.
all the same i would ask you to send it to a phone technician for more help.
