go to PGM and hit the following
    3 subtotal 01256 subtotal and then 0 cash/tend 1 cash/tend 1 cash/tend 9 cash/tend
    20 cash/tend 40 cash/tend 55 cash/tend 70 Cash/tend 90 cash/tend 109 cash/tend and then hit sub total and this will change taxes to 6% and will charge it automaticly.

I am trying to program the tax rate on my casio pcr 265p register but it keeps reading way above the tax rate I enter. It is for Texas 8.25%, when I enter 12.99 and add tax it shows 15.20 which is not...

Sounds like a programming problem, or could be that the register is keeping too many entries and not replacing an old entry, just adding onto it and giving you more than 8.25%.

800-638-9228 is the toll-free Programming Assistance number from the manual, page 7, since it's toll-free they would be the best option.
