Hi in my laptop charging shows that pluged in,not charging what can i do

Is the computer working at all? If it is then it's probably your battery. You can order one on ebay. If it is not working at all then try a known good ac adapter. If it works then replace your ac adapter. You can order it on ebay also. If it still does not work, then more than likely it is your dc jack. Order it, remove and replace it or have someone do it for you. A computer repair shop will do it. If you can take the laptop apart and put it back together then all you have to do is solder the new dc jack or have a local pc or tv shop do the soldering for you. Good Luck!
