Use of numbers on base of sigma lens

If you're referring to the numbers on the aperture ring, you don't use them. Simply turn the ring to its smallest aperture (largest number) and leave it there. Just use the lens the same way you use any other lens without such a ring.
The aperture ring is there for use with older cameras that don't control the aperture from the camera.

Lens does not extend fully

If your camera is less than a year old, call Samsung for a warranty repair. If the camera is more than a year old you will need to replace the lens mechanism.

Some may tell you to blow compressed air into the camera or bang it on a table; these things will either do nothing or damage your camera even more.

Don't know your camera model, so I don't know if we can help with the repair as we aren't able to get every lens for every camera.

I need to salvage older jdc64 4.0 megapixel camera that does NOT recognise 2gig memory cards. a store had an old "type sd" memory card they use for diadnostics behind the counter that was rated...

Since this digital camera is an older model, it probably isn't compatible with 2GB memory cards. Older electronic devices including card readers, camcorders, MP3 players and even older laptops with built-in card readers won't be able to use higher-capacity cards. Try using a 1GB memory card in your camera and if it works, then 1GB is the maximum size of memory card you can use on that camera.

Good morning. I have an old Canon WF-M camera with a 28-200mm Quantaray lens. I am thinking about buying a Canon EOS Rebel T1 EF-S. Does the lens work with the digital camera ? Or this just fits the old...

The older lenses will work with the Canon digital cameras, but they will be manual focus and you will need an adapter. The adapters are available at camera shops like B&H. I use some older lenses for macro.

Older camera - do not know how to turn it on?

if this is an old camera, that means it probably has an old battery. you can try a new battery that is the one recommended by the manufacturer. dont buy a similar type for these cameras are very specific in these requirements. if that still doesn't work , contact www.teleplancamerarepair.com for a repair. if the camera is older than 7 years it is safe to say you should get a new one.

I have a new computer with Vista and I am going to install my old Canon IXUS 300 camera to it. However, I don´have the initial drivers (no CD) so I need to get new ones. Is that possible? Regards,...

Unfortunately, no it's not possible for Vista. Canon did not update the drivers for many of its older cameras for the Vista operating system (yours included).

But there exists a good, if not better alternative way to download your photos. Please don't take the following as a sales pitch as it's not, but please see this blog article, as it describes the use of an inexpensive card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue:
