I was just using my MP3 player earlier today, and for some reason, when I went to turn it on, the button was stuck in. I haven't dropped it or anything like that, so I don't know how this happened. I don't want to take it apart because that's a /bad/ idea with electronics if you don't know what you're doing, but I'm not sure what the warranty is for this product. I left the booklet for it over at my boyfriend's house, but I don't see him for another couple of days and he wasn't much help over the phone looking for the warranty. Today is April 30th and my grandma got it for me as a birthday present on the second. I'm not sure if she has the receipt still, so I'm pretty stuck here if I can't figure out a way to fix it. It still charges when it's plugged in. Please help!!!

These players are plagued with problems! I have the 2gb version which does the same thing. I gave up on trying to use its internal battery and bought a usb charging cord for use in my car. I just unplug the cord from the cig lighter socket when I'm done using it. If it doesn't shut off, which is 99.9 percent of the time, then it just runs its battery down until it finally shuts off. It's a shame this player doesn't work as good as it looks...
i suggest that maybe device(player) wo't work because it didnt get charged long enought or it can be brokeing if you drop it or maybe you should re -turn it at the store because the wires in the device(player) might be messed.
