I have looked up the infomation on your TV I noticed that your TV has two HDMI input plugs. Since your SONY BRAVIA is hooked up to one port, you need to buy another HDMI cable for your PS3. On your tv remote you should have an option to switch from video 1 to video 2 so then you can switch from the SONY BRAVIA to the PS3 the problem is you will only hear your PS3 Sound from you TV. If you want to hear your PS3 sound from your SONY BRAVIA you need to buy an optical cable (also called TOSLINK) to connect from your PS3 to the SONY BRAVIA.

Hope that helps!

If you buy the HDMI cable and hook it up you should hear sound from your tv speakers. The TOSLINK cable is only if you want to hear surround sound through the Sony BRAVIA speakers. Look at the back of your PS3 it should have a plug called optical or TOSLINK. Also look at the back of your Sony BRAVIA and it should have a TOSLINK INPUT plug. Yes you can go to best buy and buy a TOSLINK cable just make sure that the PS3 and the Sony BRAVIA have the plugs before buying the cable. If you do hook up the TOSLINK cable you probably have to enable it in the PS3 menu as well as the Sony BRAVIA Settings. Check your manuals on how to do this.
Here is a picture of a TOSLINk Cable.

Connecting sony dvd home theatre with led tv

If your Dvd player has HDMI out, then use this to take the picture to the TV. If it only has scart, then use this. Use a fibre-optic TOSlink cable to connect the audio from the TV to the Home Theater. If the home theater doesn't have Optical in, then use red and black phono(rca) cable.

Ghosting of picture from a Panasonic home cinema system

There must be a fault in the screening of the internal wiring to the scart outlet in the home theatre system. I simply changed the way the player was connected to the TV and the interference disappeared:-

1.) I used the RCA video outlet instead of the scart lead. Picture quality was not compromised. FYI the Panasonic Plasma TV I have has only RGB video input sockets at the back, so I used a scart to RCA adaptor to overcome this problem of connecting old technology to new.

2.) The surround sound when playing DVDs is generated directly from the home theatre system so there was no need to connect the audio from the home theatre system to the TV

3.) I used a pair of RCA leads to connect the "audio out" from the TV to the "audio in"on the home theatre system to provide the option of TV sound through the home theatre system.
