With new CPU fan, all lights work, humming sounds, etc, except no video; doesn't sound like a power supply????

Hello, just wanted to answer your request... last time chat was stopped or something like that cuz I waited a long time but did not get any answers to the last thing I told you. (you told me that you were using a Pentium 2.8... but your motherboard, if it is the model you posted in your problem... is for AMD processors, so it is imposible for that CPU to work on ***********... Im just taking what you told me, if you are sure you have a pentium then this is completely useless... if you need, get back to me, G luck!

Can a Biostar NF61S MICRO AM2 SE (NF61MICROAM2SE) Motherboard run a AMD dual core X2 7750 2.7

Hello look here for the cpu list:

http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=23#cpu

Try also to look in the manual.

I think it will fit, but you probably have to upgrade the bios, to support the new cpu.

Good luck

Hi, your cpu is maybe burned due to over heating.
But you can easy change it out with a newer one.

From here you can download a manual:

http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/content.php?S_ID=370

It will show how to change the cpu.

The motherboard has a AM2+/AM3 socket, and the processor is AM2, while there is some compatibility between AM2+ and AM2 sockets, it is not guaranteed, so this could very likely be your issue.

Nothing powers up

Check your power supply connections
Sounds like you may have missed the P 4 connection near the CPU socket.

Hope this helps you please rate...
