I have a Palm Tungsten

I have a Palm Tungsten E2 Handheld that has been working very well for the last 1 1/2 years. When I touch the screen to pull up the keyboard, it will not work but only reads it as a period in Graffiti. I tried to calibrate by using the touchscreen, but after hundreds of taps, it never stops asking me to tap the center of the target. The only to get rid of this is to reset. After the reset, the touch screen keyboard still doesn't work. I really hope there is a fix for this problem as I really like my Palm and don't want to have to buy another after such a short time of owning it.
