Question about Hitachi 32UDX10S 32" TV

1 Answer

Background music overpowers speech

We have an Hitachi 32UDX10S. The background music overpowers the verbal portion of the audio. I thought it might simply be the SAP setting but it is turned off.

Hi have a hitachi c29-f100, how do I reset it

Hello
I'm not sure about what preset option you are asking for. If it is to reset the parentia passcode reset; key in '7777' will reset the set to its factory preset code '0000'. You can reset the passcode afterwards. If you wish to picture, sound etc; to return them to factory preset, select each window, hilight the reset option and pres enter. This will reset the that window settiing to its factory preset. OK.

Background music is unbearable on TV - almost impossible to hear dialogue

I had a similar problem.. What's needed is to change the audio mode of the tv.
You may need the original tv remote to access it's setup menu or maybe able to do it with onboard buttons. (not the channel setup, but the screen brightness and hue and other stuff - Audio setup)

When entering the audio setup, you may find you're in surround sound or some other "type" of sound processing. Maybe simple Speech mode will suit you. Try different modes till you find a happy medium for your own taste.

I get no sound on channel 7 and channel 4. All of the rest are OK. 32udx10sa, v2wk004761. "geobriggs@juno.com" George Briggs

If no sound only on two channels problem is either in the set or a cable or sat box attached to it.

Note that if either the set or the box is set to SAP (secondary audio program) it will blank English language.

Problem is not the set, it is setting for audio either in the set or if using a box of some kind, in that box.

If this was helpful please rate this solution "very helpful" as I do this here for free.
