My screen stays out i wish it would pop back in automatically when i turn my truck off it only cuts off when I open my doors but my screen stays out so now i made it a habit of closing it back up before i leave my truck i have a 2001 blazer.

After I installed the DVD, I asked the same question. The answer was "No - for security reasons. If you forgot the DVD <ON>, the battery will be flat." So.... :)
