We have lost our digital channels on our sharp aquos. how can i get them back. ex. 5.1, 5.2, 17.1 etc

Remove the coax cable from the television
Unfortunately your digital tuner may have gone kaput. I hope not but try an init and then rescan the channels. Unplug the television. Press and hold down input and vol-. This might take two people. While holding those buttons down on the television NOT on the remote have another person plug the television in. Keep holding down on those buttons until there is a k (green) on the left side of the screen. Then release the buttons and hold down vol - and channel - until the service menu comes up on the screen and release the buttons. Scroll down once with your down arrow on your remote until you are on page 2/26 (might be 2/some other number besides 26). The press the right arrow to turn on INIT + cause on. Press enter. When the screen turns green unplug the television without powering it down or anything. When you plug it back in it will prompt you back through the setup process.

Replace the coaxial cable before completing the setup.

If you do not have this exact model number do not complete the steps above without consulting again with the correct model number because you can wipe the memory of the television if you do not complete the right choices to bring up the service menu.

I had the same problem. all the service reset would only make the display come on for a few second with no "k" on the screen - only the channel would show up. I purchased a complete set of board for the lcd on ebay, and started swapping them one by one. The inverter boards were the culpret. Tele working 100% since that board swap.

If it's a big tv it can just take a little while to power up, I've found that pushing channel up button switches on tv quicker but I've no idea why.

Unless you want to save power you should only be switching tv to standby, there will still be a light on the tv somewhere, blue or red it varies. TV's turn on much faster from standby than completely off.

SNES problem

Make sure you are using only licensed accessories with your system.

We find that video problems occur most when an unlicensed RF switch is used. Make sure the name "Nintendo" is molded onto the RF switch, as opposed to "for use with Nintendo." Unlicensed products are not fully compatible with our systems and may not work correctly.

Check all of the system connections to verify that they are firm and correct.

For AV connections
Remove the AV cables and reinsert them with a slight twisting motion

For RF connections
Make sure the channel switch on the TV and system are set to the same channel (either CH3 or CH4)

Slide the Power Switch on the Control Deck to the OFF position. Remove the Game Pak and re-load it, pressing firmly to make sure it is locked in place.

Important Note: Removing the Game Pak with the power ON will cause the Game Pak image to freeze on the screen. Press Reset to correct the problem. Always turn your system OFF before inserting or removing Game Paks.

Slide the Power Switch on the Control Deck to the ON position.
If the above troubleshooting doesn't fix the problem, see below.

Polaroid FLM 2011 Green screen

Mine did that too for a while. I called polaroid and they told me to leave it unplugged for about 10 minutes   and then plug it back in.. I did and it works fine/has ever since. Supposedly that problem is caused by a week cable signal? Try unplugging the tv to rest it before you spend money on it.
