- Kenmore elite started to smell and not clean dishes well. checked filter at bottom under metal plate- was slightly dirty, found a few seeds, and dirty water was just sitting down there. have also heard pipes rumble in wall (i assume its pipes, it comes from near the water heater- sounds like a jackhammer for about 2 seconds) when dishwasher is going- i can hear the system stop for aprox. 5-10 seconds and then continues cycle (does this about twice a cycle now). I am thinking these expensive dishwashers have reached end of life. I cannot get it to drain, clean the dishes or shut off when the door is opened. I bought this product thinking due to its cost, it would last longer. So sick of being ripped off. Let me know if you find a solution RMCDaniel at kervin@avaya.com

Have an old Kitchenaid. Cycles run, but it does not drain when it is at the Dry cycle. An ideas?

i have the same problem and i have to always be cleaning the filters b/c there is a terrible odor otherwise. we always rince evrything to before we put it in the washer and run it! Help!

Water does not drani completly after the wahshing cycle. Amount varies everyday. Checked the filter at the bottom of the tub . completly clear. I washed it and replaced the cover and the filter. NO clogs at all. Please let me know what the problem is with Kenmore elite 16303 made by bocsh.

a small amount of water is remaining in bottom dishwasher.
we removed parts and did not see any blockage.
reinstalled parts, and now leaves soap suds and water, but we did not add any soap.
any suggestions.
