Plasmasync 42 (2004)

My TV has been great, a few days ago it started with strange screen abnormalities, in the upper middle, there seems to be a splotch that is discoloring mostly greenish tint. Also sometimes the screen goes blank with the green light on then the power light turns red then green again. Very strange. Are these fixable, how long is the warranty good for? Is it worth fixing price wise or it easier just to get a normal LCD or plasma replacement for $1500. I paid $3200 in 04 and it seemed like a deal. Is this just the plasma burn or burn out that people warned me about when I bought it....signed...confused. My email is info@critelliandkilbride.com
