Where should I plug in my sub woffer

There should be two jacks on the back that say SUBWOOFER in the "preout" section of the back panel that is directly above the speaker jacks. Either of these jacks should work for your sub hook-up. Also make sure that you set your front speakers to small in the speaker setup menu, otherwise there will be output to the subwoofer jacks.

When my KEF home theatre subwoofer is maxing out on bass, it often makes a loud popping noise. Should I be making some adjustments to reverb, volume, or something else?

Hi,
Yes you should make adjustments.KEF makes very good products, however if you don't handle this you will have to replace or service it.
1 If the woofer is very close to you, relocate it further away. The reason being is that the lower the frequency the larger the wave form. The lowest waveforms will become louder.
2 Adjust the high frequency cut off to be at 80Hz. This should eliminate boom. Higher Sub frequency tend to muddy the sound.
3 The sub should have a subtle effect in music. So the relationship between it and the speakers it augments the sound of should be seamless.
4 If you are playing Rap or Reggie music and you like to play it loud. Add another sub into the system and locate it NEXT TO the KEF Sub. In this fashion the two subs will reinforce each other's energy. They will "couple" thus multiplying their energy considerably.
Hope this helps,
Best Regards,
Mark

I have the sony str-da4400es iv had it since november 08 and all of a sudden my speakers started making a fuzzy noise all the time even during movies

Many things can be happening to cause this noise: loose connections; ground loops; speaker cables smashed, etc. Disconnect all sources and speakers, clean plugs and connectors, make firm connections, be sure of the energy quality at your home. Most sound noises come from fluctuations on voltage and energy. Consider to invest on a power conditioner. Good Luck.

Electronic hum

Hey there,
What I think is the problem here is that your A/V receiver may have a blown preamp for the turntable input. Or, although less likely, assuming that both channels sound normal when the receiver is set to a different input such as an FM tuner, there could be an impedance mis-match between the turntable's output and the reciever's input. But, the goal is to try simpler (and much more inexpensive), methods first. Try replacing the cable that connects your turntable to the receiver. If no difference is heard, then we should take another diagnoses.

Hortona

MARANTZ : Connection problem ZR6001server/ZC4001client, remote control influence ?

Hi!
Perhaps the distance between the two energy plugs (ZR6001 & ZC4001) is to big. Also it could be, that other systems plugged in the energy supply of your home are disturbing the signal.
I've no really connectio0n problems. Length is about 20m of energy supply line.
But I've problems with controlling DVD Player of marantz, directly connected to the ZR6001 (REMOTE IN/OUT correct connected) by ZC4001. There is no chance to start DVD Player which is in standby, also no chance to control playing with PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, NEXT, LAST etc.
Perhaps you could help me with my problem?

The amount of steps you need to have the GE smartcom systems IR's to work on a Directv R15 box is NOT worth your time and money.
