Remove back ckd element and thermal fuse at top of element housing if either is bad be sure to ck vent to outside ..blocked vent can cause overheating and early failure of either

I fixed a roper dryer with a no heat problem and I did a youtube video you can google Roper Dryer no heat if my movie does not show but I gonna post it for you.
Remove plug from wall socket. Remove back from dryer. On the right side you should see a sheet-metal duct/tube. Label and disconnect wires to parts going into this duct. Remove duct. Heating element (coils) should be in lower portion of the duct.
The thermal cut-off , which is the small t-stat looking piece located at the top of the element housing ( on vertical mount elements ) or the far front of the element housing ( on horizontal mount elements ) , is usually the cause for no heat .
my roper dryer does not heat up i checked thermostat, thremo fuse and heating element they show working could it be my timer when dryer is running timer does nt advance it stays in the same position.
This problem sounds like a bad motor bearing causing the motor to overheat, when the motor overheats there is a thermal protector that opens and the motor will not run until it cools down.
I have a roper and I will bet its your heating element. Pry the top up with a screwdriver (pops up) and you will see the element on the back of the dryer. Take it out and it will have a break in it.
Dryer will run forever if it doesnt heat up, Dryer has to heat up and thermostat has to get hot and open to start the timer. Odds are rally great, it is your heating element.
