Question about Yamaha RX-V661 Receiver

NO SOUND - FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT CHANNELS

I see a few more identical posts. I just noticed that no sound is coming out when I took everything apart recently to put the receiver in a piece of furniture. Help! The unit is only 5 months old....

All, sorry- should have let you know that I went through all of the obvious troubleshooting w/ no success. I ended up doing a Master Reset of the Unit by Holding Down the Tone Control while pressing the Master On button. Then Selecting Master Reset and Turning the Master Button back off. Now all of my speakers work.... needless to say, I am clueless as to why they ever stopped working.

Hi: I have a aiwa nsx 800 mkII I hear left channel normal but the right channel sound very low ?qhere can I fix that?

Check first it is on all functions. If it is then it will be a power amp fault. As the unit has two channels both of which are identical to each other it's possible to check and compare each channel. So in your case the left hand channel parts are your guide to what is right. Compare first visually the two channels. If something looks burnt or damaged or wrong in the right, but it isn't in the left then you will have found the cause.
If everything looks OK, then carry out voltage tests, if you have a meter. Or a sound test. This involves touching with an insulated screwdriver the two channels while the unit is on. Never touch any part that there is only one of. Unless it's an IC and has two channels going in it. You will hear a buzz if it is working or produces sound. Again a good buzz in the left should happen in the same place as the right. When it's load at one point of a part but weak on the other, when it should be a loud buzz then you have found the faulty part.
Please however check first that it's not the headphone socket that is causing the problem. Sometimes the sound will be OK on headphones but not on the speakers. The socket the headphones fit into can cause this.

The left speaker for my quiet comfort 2 headphones is starting to give this static sound. I've unplugged all the cords so I know it's the speakers fault. It also sounds like it's coming from the noise...

My right speaker went out so I took it apart and the speaker is bad, so I'm going to try to replace it with this one from Digikey (Part #GF0401M-ND) for $3.28. Looks identical and is identical in size. I'll try to post the results, but I will probably forget to, which is why I'm at least posting the part number which I think is an exact match.

Kenmore front load won't drain spins then blinks no spin

Yes this is the place, but you have to mop up the water or it would flood the place; clean out the muck from the filter and refit carefully. You have to clean your filter according to usage, the filter does not self clean, no way.

Speakers not working proprerly

This may be in the sound card settings itself. Even though you may have adjusted the Windows settings {if thats what your using} the sound card needs to also be set up for surround. Some sound cards do not support 4 speakers or surround sound systems. Go to Device Manager and find your sound card and manufacture then check there technical support page for info.
